Sunday June 14 - Whitstable Rotary Club Pantomine Horse Races on Tankerton Slopes.

Sunday 21 June - Whitstable Umbrella Centre Fun Day. On Tankerton Slopes, Marine Parade, Whitstable from 11.00a.m. till 5.00p.m. Small funfair; stalls; music; Flypast of Battle of Britain Memorial Flight. More info & bookings from www.tankertonchristmasmarket.co.uk

Sat 18 - Sun 26 Jul 2009 - Whitstable Oyster Festival. An exciting programme of arts, culture and festival food, Whitstable's annual Oyster Festival celebrates all that is best and unique about Whitstable. Visit www.whitstableoysterfestival.com

Sat 8th - 9th August - Whitstable and Herne Bay Lions Club Annual Regatta. Jazz, bands, dancing and general merriment which culminates in a spectacular firework display over the sea in the evening from Tankerton slopes.

Sat 22 Aug 2009 - Whitstable Harbour Day at Whitstable Harbour. Great opportunity to experience the great food, shops and scenery in Whitstable.
